TNA President Dixie carter spoke with CanMag, talking about going against Vince Mcmahons’ WWE.
“We are giving fans an alternative, and that is so important,” Carter said. “Competition is critical. We’ve grown this company one fan at a time because there was such a demand for wrestling out there. We are doing it differently. You know, our competition may not have the same opinion that competition is good for an industry and take every opportunity to try to shut us down. I mean, it is the truest of David-and-Goliath situations, but we are scrappy. We will not take no for an answer, and we are going to have great success. It’s a lot of fun.”
Carter believes that TNA Wrestling is giving their fans an better in ring product and knows what they want.
“I think that these days you don’t have to be a bigger-than-life cartoon character. I mean, it’s much more about reality and what these guys can do in the ring. They are amazing athletes. I can have an all-pro football player, an NBA star on, and they say, ‘We could never do something like this.’ You have no off season. It’s 52 weeks a year, and then we tour in between that. These guys are incredible athletes, and we do focus on the athleticism on our show much, much more.”

I gotta say it, I cant believe how nasty and tacky, the TNA people are nevermind their audience. I mean seriously, ive never once heard the WWE have to tell the fans to be respectful and no fighting or swearing as the tna did not to long ago. I love most of the Divas from WWE but come on what the hell is going on with the sluty chics on TNA. Granted we run into some sluty looking Divas once in a great while but never have they been cheesy and nasty as the
“women” on tna. If tna wants to try and hold a candle to WWE then you need to try and get some respect for yourself. Jeff Hardy, im not sure which way hes going whether it be to tna or WWE but im sure that either way he will come back to us at WWE.(Also im sure Beth with have a thing or two to say about those nastiness from tna). HaHaHa.

Well Maverick always love your opinions but WWE has confiscated posters from numerous fans plus also ejected an few fans as well. As for TNA, they are going ot hit WWE where it hurts them, in the ratings. as for Jeff Hardy, you will be seeing him in TNA very soon, I don’t think Beth has too much to say , but i have been known to be wrong before…lol
