-Bret Hart posted the following update on his Facebook, here is an little excerpt from the post of “The Hit Man” getting married:
As for other news, I should mention that I’ll be getting married again to my girlfriend on July 24. I don’t say much about us but I can honestly say that God has looked out for me and, this time around, I know I’ll be forever happy and content. In closing, I think of when Steph and I went riding around Calgary a couple of days ago and, lo and behold, I saw a real beaver flagging me down on the bike path along Memorial Drive, then another beaver stepped out to greet me. The Hitman in me was thinking “if these beavers want some trouble, I’m more than prepared to run them over.” But as I cruise up to them, they barely take notice of me. They scampered down the steep embankment and slipped into the Bow
River and I smirked at the recollection of the countless times I’ve asked Steph to show me her beaver. How funny it was that it was me who ended up showing my beaver to her. Just kidding!

Carlito uncensored speech about why leaving WWE, his discouragement over the past months, his future in wrestling, and much more
The mystery woman on the motorcycle at Victory Road was the returning Lisa Marie Varon aka Tara (Victoria in WWE), who is already back with the company.
For a little backstory, Peter Rosenberg is a co-host for the morning show on New York’s Hot 97. He is a wrestling enthusiast, has done loads of wrestling interviews in the past, and (along with ex-WWE writer Andrew Goldstein) does TNA’s Official Podcast. Apparently they had Velvet Sky and Jay Lethal in for an interview, and things went a little left, and she ends up slapping him.
Former TNA Knockout Roxxi wrote the following blog at http://healthhugsandheadlocks.blogspot.com/
So, I know everyone is wondering what exactly happened at TNA this past week. Well I can tell you most of what you hear is true. I was told when I arrive to the set that I would be putting my career on the line. I did hear I was visibly upset but I would like to think I wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong, TNA has always been a big part of my life but if it’s supposed to be my last match or entire day with TNA I want to enjoy it. I want everyone to remember that I was cheerful that day because I was one of the lucky people, just like everyone else who works at TNA, who have the opportunity to be flown to Orlando FL, hang out with some of my closest friends and do what I love to do.
With that being said, I want everyone to know I’m proud of the career I did have with them. Every part of it. I legit gave my blood, sweat and tears to TNA and the fans and I know I can walk away with my head held high. I appreciate the opportunity that was given to me several times by the company to do what I love. I also appreciate the opportunity you fans have given me by letting be a part of your lives and you a part of mine. Your support has been amazing!
In closing I would like to thank everyone in TNA and most of all Dixie for all the memories I have and fans don’t worry I’m not finished in wrestling. It’s just a new chapter.
-WWE Champion John Cena told NewsTimes.com while promoting for the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn. that he has no intention of leaving WWE for a career in music or acting. “No, I will never walk away from this business,” Cena said. “I really love working for this company. I’ve been a big fan of the WWE all my life. I will never leave WWE.”
Also noted that Cena will team up with Randy Orton to face Edge and Sheamus inb an dark match. You can read the article at this link.
-Tonight during the TNA impact Tapings, Female Indy wrestler Mia (stephanie) Yim had a tryout match against Taylor Wilde. Oddly, she actually alluded to her tryout match on her myspace and twitter account weeks before it happened but apparently nobody caught on. Yim has worked for promotions like Vanguard Championship Wrestling,Supreme Pro Wrestling and Jersey All Pro Wrestling.
Mia has only been in the business for roughly two years and has a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She also notes that she is korean and african american. See an photo of her below:
Slam Wrestling got an interview with TNA Knockout Womans Champion Madison Rayne promoting Slammiversary VIII on this Sunday. Here are a few highlights:
Working for TNA & her spot on the roster:“I’ve been giving 110% in the company for a year-and-a-half now, so to have been given the opportunity to show that and for it to pay off is pretty awesome considering I’m only 24. I’m excited; I’m just taking it all in a day at a time.”
“I don’t think of myself as the leader or the top of the food chain or anything like that. Keeping me grounded is what has made me so successful.”
On reduced TV time for the Knockouts under Hogan & Bischoff: “They’re just trying to test the waters and see what works and what’s pulling ratings and what might not be. So they’re throwing a little bit of everything onto every show, and the entire roster knows that, and the girls especially know that. So we’re all just going to keep doing what we’ve been doing since the beginning, and the numbers are going to keep speaking for themselves,”
Awesome Kong:“She’s an incredible athlete and performer and I personally learned a lot from her in the time that I was able to work with her in TNA,” Rayne told SLAM. “I definitely hope that with continuing to do independent shows that our paths will cross again and that I’ll get to work with her again, because she’s an absolute joy to be around and a joy to be in the ring with.”
Tara:“She made that decision for herself and I wish her well. I hope that whatever it is that she decides to do next that she’s very successful in and maybe our paths will cross again someday, and if not, I’m glad they that they did at all.”
ODB was a guest on Right After Wrestling tonight. Here are highlights:
- Noted that she is “about to make a change” and talked at length about acting, how that’s a new challenge for her and she’s someone who constantly needs a challenge in her life, despite wrestling always being in her blood
- Her start in pro wrestling and training with Eddie Sharkey
- Origins of the ODB name
- The difference between a Diva and a Knockout.
- Having rode her bike to a bar while doing the interview
Also, if you are interested, here are video interviews with Honky Tonk Man (doing a hilarious impression of Stu Hart) and the Iron Sheik (comparing his neck size to Arnold’s from an old picture, and meeting Muhammad Ali):
